Search Console + AI Visibility

Stop stitching search demand and AI answers together by hand

Foglift brings Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools evidence beside five-engine AI Visibility, recognized AI referrals, and crawler activity. Contested Demand finds buyer queries with demonstrated impressions and weak search or AI coverage, while every fact keeps its source.

Bring demand into view

Keep Google and Bing evidence in one working view

Find the queries and pages already creating demand without bouncing between exports. Query and page rows use a common reading shape, while each provider keeps its own property, timeline, totals, and technical evidence.

Find the break

See where the growth loop breaks

Know whether the next move is a search fix, an AI-answer fix, or a landing-page investigation. Search performance, answer selection, and observed site activity can move independently, so each signal keeps the source that produced it.

01

Search demand

Source: Google Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools

Facts: Queries, pages, clicks, impressions, CTR, average position, and provider-specific timelines

Decision: Which buyer questions already create measurable demand, and whether the immediate loss is rank or click-through rate

02

AI answers

Source: Foglift prompt monitoring

Facts: Tracked prompts, engines, brand mentions, owned-domain citations, competitors, and observation dates

Decision: Whether the same topic is covered in AI answers, which engines selected the brand, and whether a citation was returned

03

Observed site activity

Source: Foglift Sensor

Facts: Recognized AI referrals, landing paths, and crawler requests that reached the site

Decision: Whether answer-engine activity produced an observable visit or fetch without treating that event as proof of a citation

Prioritize proven demand

Turn a missed search opportunity into a clear next move

Start with buyer questions that already have measurable impressions, then act on the largest credible loss first. Foglift removes navigational, machine-operator, and low-signal query shapes, applies a 0.5 human-intent threshold, and compares search performance with a position-based CTR benchmark before attaching separate AI coverage.

Rank loss

Average position is greater than 10 and the query has impressions

Strengthen the ranking page with proof, structured answers, and internal links

Click loss

Average position is 10 or better and CTR is below 65% of the position benchmark

Rewrite the title and description around the demonstrated decision intent

Absent

Average position is 50 or worse, clicks are zero, and the query has impressions

Create or select a focused answer page for the measured question

Headline threshold

A query needs at least 10 impressions to count in the headline qualified total. The detailed table can preserve lower-volume qualified rows, and estimated lost clicks stay labeled as a benchmark estimate.

From query to action

Move from a buyer question to the right fix

Replace a spreadsheet handoff with one traceable workflow. Every action stays attached to the property, query, page, and answer-level evidence that justified it.

  1. 01

    Connect a verified property

Choose Google or Bing. Foglift shows only the verified properties available to that connection and keeps each provider attached to its own evidence.

  2. 02

    Choose a truthful window

Use 28 days for a current operating view or 90 days for a longer pattern. The product does not offer a 24-hour view because provider reporting can arrive with a delay.

  3. 03

    Open Contested Demand

Review human-intent queries with an estimated rank, click, or absence loss. The view ranks the largest demonstrated impression opportunities first.

  4. 04

    Separate search from AI coverage

Check whether a related tracked prompt was cited, mentioned, missing, or not tracked. That status comes from Foglift monitoring rather than the Search Console provider.

  5. 05

    Move into diagnosis and action

Use the query, selected page, Technical Audit evidence, and answer-level result to decide whether the intervention is metadata, content, technical access, or independent corroboration.

Trace crawl problems

Catch Bing crawl and index problems before they compound

See whether the property is losing coverage to crawl errors, robots.txt blocks, or an index shortfall. Bing adds the latest counts for pages in the index and pages crawled, but these remain property-level snapshots. A property snapshot is not a URL verdict. Use a Technical Audit when the snapshot points to a site or page issue.

Start with the plan you have

Connect search demand without upgrading first

Search Console connections are included on Free, Launch, Growth, and Enterprise. Your plan changes how many brands join the workflow, how often AI monitoring runs, and which developer and full-site audit surfaces can use the evidence.

What does Foglift show from Google Search Console?

Foglift uses Google's read-only Search Console scope to show verified-property query and page rows with clicks, impressions, click-through rate, and average position. The product offers 28-day and 90-day windows and keeps Google data labeled as Google evidence.

What does Foglift show from Bing Webmaster Tools?

Foglift connects Bing through Microsoft OAuth or a validated Bing Webmaster API key. It shows query and page performance, daily property traffic, and the latest property-level crawl and index snapshot, including pages crawled, pages in the index, crawl errors, and robots.txt blocks.

What is Contested Demand?

Contested Demand finds human-intent search queries with measurable impressions and a ranking, click-through, or absence gap. It then attaches Foglift's own AI-answer coverage and recognized AI-referral evidence when available, so a team can distinguish a search-ranking problem from an AI-answer selection problem.

Does Search Console data prove that an AI engine cited my page?

No. Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster data report their own search and indexing surfaces. Foglift's AI answers view is sourced from separate prompt monitoring across supported engines, while Sensor reports recognized referrals and crawler requests that reached the site. The product keeps those evidence layers distinct.

Which Foglift plans include Search Console connections?

Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools connections are available on every Foglift plan. Free includes one brand, active-use weekly Perplexity monitoring, AI Crawler Analytics, and unlimited single-page Technical Audits. Launch costs $49 per month and adds daily monitoring across five engines, full-site Technical Audits, REST API, CLI, MCP, and webhooks.

Can an AI assistant retrieve Search Console evidence from Foglift?

Yes, on Launch and higher plans. Foglift's read-only get_search_console MCP tool returns Google or Bing queries, pages, and Contested Demand. With provider set to bing, it can also return Bing crawl and index evidence. Google is the default provider for existing integrations.
