Google Search Console MCP server with Bing Webmaster Tools
Foglift is a hosted Google Search Console MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and other remote MCP clients. Its read-only get_search_console tool returns top queries, top pages, clicks, impressions, CTR, and average position. The same tool reads Bing Webmaster Tools and joins search demand to tracked AI visibility through Contested Demand.

What you can ask
Ask in plain language. The client chooses the typed tool inputs for provider, view, date window, row limit, and connected brand.
“Which queries lost clicks in the last 28 days?”
“Which pages get impressions but no clicks?”
“Show my Bing crawl and index snapshot.”
“Which Search Console queries have demand but weak AI visibility?”
One read-only tool, two search providers
Google is the default provider. Set provider to bing for Bing Webmaster Tools. Search performance stays separate from AI-answer mentions, citations, referrals, and crawler activity, even when a workflow brings those sources together.
| View | Google Search Console | Bing Webmaster Tools |
|---|
| Top queries | Clicks, impressions, CTR, and average position | Clicks, impressions, CTR, and average position |
|---|
| Top pages | Page-level search performance | Page-level search performance |
|---|
| Contested Demand | Search demand joined to tracked AI-answer evidence | Search demand joined to tracked AI-answer evidence |
|---|
| Crawl and index snapshot | Unavailable in this tool | Available through the Bing crawl view |
|---|
The Google path uses finalized data with a three-day delay in this tool. The Bing crawl view is a property-level snapshot. Neither provider view proves that an AI engine cited, mentioned, or referred a visitor to a page.
Connect Search Console to Claude or another MCP client
Search Console connections work on every plan. New account-scoped MCP connections require Launch or higher, starting at $49 per month.
Step 1
Connect a verified search property
Connect Google Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools in Foglift. Search Console connections are available on every plan and keep each provider attached to its own evidence.
Step 2
Add the hosted MCP URL
Add https://mcp.foglift.io/api/mcp as a remote MCP server. On Claude Free, Pro, or Max, the current path is Customize, Connectors, + Add, then Add custom connector. Free accounts can add one custom connector.
Step 3
Authorize the account
Complete the OAuth sign-in. The MCP client receives account-scoped access without storing your Google or Microsoft password.
Step 4
Verify and ask
Call whoami to confirm the connected account and brand. Then ask for top queries, top pages, Contested Demand, or Bing crawl evidence.
Claude's current remote-connector path comes from its official help center. Team and Enterprise owners configure the connector for their organization before members connect it.
Follow the step-by-step Claude setup guideHosted MCP compared with a self-hosted GitHub server
A self-hosted server is a strong fit when you want full control over the runtime and only need the tools in that repository. Foglift fits teams that want one maintained remote connection for Google, Bing, and measured AI visibility.
| Decision | Self-hosted GitHub server | Foglift hosted MCP |
|---|
| Setup | Register a Google API project, configure OAuth credentials, host the server, and maintain updates | Paste one remote URL and complete OAuth sign-in |
|---|
| Google Search Console | Depends on the repository and tools you install | Queries, pages, clicks, impressions, CTR, and average position |
|---|
| Bing Webmaster Tools | Requires a separate server or custom implementation | Queries, pages, Contested Demand, and crawl snapshots in the same tool |
|---|
| AI-answer evidence | Requires a separate monitoring data source | Contested Demand joins search evidence to tracked five-engine visibility |
|---|
| Operating model | You own hosting, credentials, logs, updates, and uptime | Foglift operates the remote server and OAuth flow |
|---|
Pricing and plan boundary
Launch costs $49 per month with monthly billing and no sales call. It includes three brands, developer access, and AI Visibility monitoring across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overview. Google and Bing connections remain available on Free.
