What Foglift Shipped Since Launch: Summer 2026 Product Update
Foglift launched in March as a Technical Audit and AI Visibility product. It now connects diagnosis, prompt discovery, improvement, traffic evidence, and developer automation in one operating loop. Updated August 6, 2026.
Foglift now connects eight product layers: Technical Audits, AI Visibility, prompt discovery, prioritized improvement, page evidence, crawler and referral tracking, developer automation, and buyer-intent measurement. The $49 Launch plan is the entry point for daily five-engine monitoring and developer access. The larger story is the connected workflow that takes a team from diagnosis to measurable action.
We launched Foglift on Product Hunt on March 24, 2026. The initial promise was straightforward: show teams whether their sites were ready for AI discovery and whether AI answers mentioned their brands. The product has since grown into an operating layer for the work that comes before and after monitoring.
The short version
Audit the site, discover the prompts, monitor the answers, turn gaps into work, observe crawler and referral evidence, then automate the loop through API, CLI, MCP, webhooks, or batch scanning.
The eight layers now available in Foglift
| Workflow layer | Shipped capability | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Diagnose | Unlimited Technical Audits | Every plan checks SEO, AI Readiness, performance, security, and accessibility, with shareable reports and PDF export. |
| Monitor | Six-tier AI Visibility | Paid plans monitor ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overview with mentions, citations, sentiment, competitors, and trends. |
| Discover | Prompt discovery and Query Fanouts | Rank demand-backed prompt opportunities, promote them into tracking, and inspect the related questions behind a monitored prompt. |
| Improve | Recommendations, actions, and content briefs | Turn audit and answer evidence into a prioritized fix queue, tracked work, and reusable content briefs. |
| Explain | Watched Pages, Knowledge Bases, and Ask Foglift | Connect page changes and workspace evidence to scoped answers about what changed and what to do next. |
| Attribute | AI Crawler Analytics and Tracker | See recognized crawler activity, AI-referred visits, landing paths, and answer citations in one evidence chain. |
| Automate | REST API, CLI, MCP, webhooks, and batch scanning | Move monitoring and audit evidence into release checks, agents, alerts, warehouses, and customer workflows. |
| Prioritize intent | Buyer-intent Win Rate | Growth adds buyer-intent measurement and sitemap scanning for commercially meaningful prompts and pages. |
From prompt monitoring to an improvement system
Prompt discovery ranks demand-backed opportunities and moves selected questions into tracking. Query Fanouts expose related questions. Recommendations and content briefs translate the evidence into a fix queue. Watched Pages record the pages that matter, Knowledge Bases keep workspace context available, and Ask Foglift answers scoped questions against that evidence.
This is the part that makes the product more than a reporting dashboard. A mention-rate chart can show that a problem exists. Foglift also gives the team a concrete path from the weak prompt or page to work that can be assigned, shipped, and measured again.
Traffic evidence for modern stacks
Foglift Tracker connects answer visibility to observed traffic. AI Crawler Analytics records recognized crawler requests. Referral tracking records recognized visits from AI answer surfaces and the pages they reach. Teams can install the evidence layer through Next.js middleware, Cloudflare Workers, nginx mirroring, the downloadable WordPress plugin, or the browser pixel.
The Wix app adds a hosted-platform path for recognized AI referrals. Wix does not expose server-side crawler logs to apps, so Foglift states that boundary in the product and keeps Wix referral evidence separate from crawler evidence.
Installation instructions live in the Tracker overview and the stack-specific WordPress and Next.js guides.
Developer access starts at Launch
Launch includes daily monitoring across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overview, plus REST API access, the foglift-scan CLI, hosted OAuth MCP, a local npm MCP server, webhooks, and batch scanning. The plan includes 50 API requests per day and 1,000 per month. Growth raises those limits and adds Buyer-intent Win Rate and sitemap scanning.
Batch processing also gained a stricter reliability boundary. Foglift reserves provider liability with its durable queue owner before provider work begins, settles or releases the reservation safely on replay, and checks for stale or orphaned reservations. Provider-health monitoring keeps failures visible before they become a silent reporting gap.
Pricing is the kicker
Every plan includes unlimited Technical Audits. Active Free workspaces receive weekly Google AI Overview monitoring plus on-demand AI Visibility Checks. Launch costs $49 per month and adds three brands, daily monitoring across all five engines, 4,000 monthly tokens, and the complete developer surface. Growth costs $129 per month and Enterprise costs $299 per month.
The product case comes first: Foglift connects the technical, answer, traffic, action, and developer layers in one workflow. Public pricing makes that workflow accessible to startups and agencies without an enterprise sales process.
A product-announcement cadence from here
This catch-up update resets the cadence. Substantive releases will now receive a versioned changelog entry and a concise announcement that states the capability, the plan boundary, and the workflow it unlocks. Biweekly roundups will collect smaller improvements without turning every fix into a marketing event.
Future work remains visible on the public roadmap. The changelog remains the record of what has actually shipped.
