Add the Foglift pixel to Wix

Wix removes third-party tracking scripts pasted into Custom Code, so there is nothing to copy for Wix. Instead you install the Foglift AI Tracking app in one click from your Foglift Connections page, approve it on Wix, and Foglift embeds the cookieless Sensor for you. No code, no snippet.

Nothing to paste

There is no snippet to copy for Wix. You approve a one-click install from Connections and Foglift embeds the cookieless Sensor for you. Your workspace binds automatically when the site domain matches.

Open Connections

Step by step in Wix

  1. Open Connections in Foglift

    Sign in to Foglift and open Connections from the left navigation. This is where Foglift manages one-click integrations for your workspace.

  2. Find the Wix AI traffic card

    Scroll to the card titled Wix AI traffic. It installs Foglift through Wix's sanctioned app channel so the Sensor survives publishing.

  3. Click Install Wix app

    Click the Install Wix app button on that card. Foglift opens Wix's install page in a new tab. If the button is not there yet, the connection is still being prepared — wait a moment and refresh.

  4. Approve the install on Wix

    Log in to Wix if prompted, choose the site you want to track, and click Add to Site (or Agree and Add) on Wix's consent screen. This grants Foglift permission to embed the Sensor.

  5. Wait for Connected in Foglift

    Return to the Foglift Connections tab. The Wix AI traffic card moves to Connected once Wix confirms the app and Foglift finishes embedding the Sensor.

  6. Confirm the connected domain

    Foglift binds the installed Wix site automatically when its domain exactly matches your workspace domain. If the domains differ (for example a wixsite.com preview URL), the card will not auto-bind — contact Foglift support so the installed site can be bound to your workspace manually.

  7. Verify the first AI referral

    There is nothing to publish. After an AI assistant sends a visitor to your Wix site, the first recognized AI answer referral appears in AI Traffic. Wix does not give apps server-side crawler logs, so only AI agents that load pages in a browser and recognized referrals appear here.

A Connected status proves the Sensor is embedded. It does not create a referral event and does not prove that an AI engine cited, indexed, or recommended your site.
